2023 Southeast Presidency : Ohanaeze Youth sends stern warning To Saboteurs.
*Says Ikpeazu, Kalu, Uzodinma others

The Igbo apex Socio-cultural youth organization of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Ohanaeze Youth Council(OYC) has condemned vehemently, what it described as the “selfish agendas of some Southeast politicians capable of jeopardising, enslaving and mortgaging the future of the youths future next generation of the Igbo race.

This is following the recent seemingly questionable behaviours of some political elites in the region, which according to the Council, is a glaring proof of their betrayal, as well as household enemies of the Southeast.

According to OYC’s National president, Comrd. Igboayaka O. Igboayaka, the betrayers and Saboteurs are invoking the wrath of Igbos youths, as he lamented that will lead to mob action against all political looters in Southeast.

Addressing Press men in Abuja on Wednesday, May 25, at Nicon Luxury Hotel, FCT, Abuja, Comrade Igboayaka regretted that “the attitude of Southeast political saboteurs like Hope Uzodinma, Orji Uzor Kalu, Emeka Ihedioha, Prof Udenta Udenta, Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Joe Igbokwe, Willie Amadi, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, Sam Daddy Nnaemeka Anyanwu, Sen. Ifeanyi Ararume and many others who have joined the presidential campaign team of Atiku Abubakar, Ahmed Lawal, Aminu Tambuwal, Mohammed Bala, Sen. Bukola Saraki, Gov. Yahaya Bello, Sen Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo and so on are capable of igniting angry mob in Southeast against them.

“Any Southeast politician who can’t support the Igbo political agitation but turns around to sabotage Southeast presidential project should know that they are giving IPOB, Massob and other Pro-Biafran groups more reasons for the agitation and also indirectly grooming passive resistance or civil disobedient youths that will overrun Southeast.’

Continuing, he said reprimanded political bigwigs for putting the lives of youths of the region at risk, without any tinge of mercy nor regard for their future.

He unequivocally asserted that the major enemies of Southeasterners lived among them as he urged them to gird against household enemies “and quit mistaking Northerners for their enemies.

“Southeast Youths are watching with keen interest as Southeast politicians keep sabotaging our presidential project; they are indirectly, but may not know that they are creating “Monsters” that will consume them. These political betrayers and saboteurs have secured the future of their children through their ill gotten wealth but show less concern that Igbo youths are relegated to the background particularly in terms of job placements and other opportunities despite their academic qualifications.

“It’s obvious that the enemies of Southeast are household enemies who have made the youths to believe in the past that federal government or the Hausa/Fulani’s are the enemies of Ndigbo. But, with the recent political moves with focus on their serial betrayal and political prostituting, it’s now obvious that Igbos can no longer accommodate them. The likes of Orji Uzor Kalu, Hope Uzodinma, Okezie Ikpeazu, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Ifeanyi Ararume, Prof. Udenta Udenta, and others are evidences of the real enemies and Saboteurs of Southeast.

Speaking earlier, Igboayaka stated, “I wish to state it categorically, that the present and past political office holders in Southeast are major problems of Ndigbo, it’s not President Mohammadu Buhari as they have made the Youths to believe and certainly not totally the North. We perceive that the recent unfolding political realities have shown that President Mohammadu Buhari will support the call for Southeast justice and concede the APC presidential ticket to Southeast, yet Gov. Hope Uzodinma’s loyalist are positioning him for vice president while Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu is busy following Alhmed Lawan like flies just to be a senate president.

“Ndigbo and Igbo youths must know the enemies and stop casting aspersions on Hausa/Fulani as our enemies whereas our real enemies are men like them. All the aspiring Houses of Assembly in Southeast, House of Representatives and Senators are busy working towards the actualization of their ambitions but Southeast presidential project remains the greatest ambition of Ndigbo. Therefore, all Igbos should unite and make appeals to our neighboring Nigerians to deliver Igbo aspirants for peace, justice and equity.

He mandated all Southeast members of State of Assembly, House of Representatives and Senates, as well as political appointees to convoke an emergency meeting in that regard otherwise face the youths’ fury.

“We therefore, mandate all the House of Assembly, all the House of representatives and Senators and political appointees in Southeast to convoke an emergency meeting within 48 hours to make an official statementA, and champion the presidential project of Southeast or face the wrath of the youths.

On the forthcoming 2023 general election, he said: “We reaffirm that, there may not be election in Southeast in 2023 except a Southeastner gets the APC and PDP Presidential tickets. We must Stop these political maradonas and profiteers who have looted our common funds and undeveloped Southeast. They left the youths with hopeless situation, incurred poverty on us despite going to House of Assembly, House Representatives and Senate yet 2023 in their minds to continue enslaving Igbos.

“All the present Southeast house of assembly members, house of representatives, Senators especially Orji Uzor Kalu shall be retired in 2023 through a massive Ballot Revolution, these men are desperately wicked and inhuman, therefore we shall pay the back by ensuring that none of will go back to Senate, house of representatives and house of assembly”

“Therefore, over 50 million Igbo extraction reaffirm our total commitment to our survival without any fear or favour that we the oppressed and the oppressors in the southeast shall dance naked if they fail to carry out all our demands”, Igboayaka concluded.
