Abam Youths Condole With Uko Nkole Over Father’s Death

The youths of Abam in Arochukwu LGA of Abia State have reiterated their unreserved love and unflinching support for the Member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole amid coronavirus threat.

The youths of Abam, led by her Chairman, Mr. John Otum made this pledge, Tuesday, when they commiserated with the federal Lawmaker at his country home, in Ozu Abam, Arochukwu, over the demise of his father, Late Chief Emmanuel Nkole Ndukwe whose glorious exit occurred on December 24, 2019 shortly after a brief illness.

The youth leader who could not hide their sympathy for their benevolent leader said:
“Hon, we the youths of Abam have come to condole with you, our brother, friend and leader, Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole over the demise of your father, Late Chief Emmanuel Nkole Ndukwe whose glorious exit occurred on the 24th of December, 2019 after a brief illness, aged 79.”

img 20200415 wa00922639894982686991496In his remarks, Mr. John who expressed profound gratitude to the bereaved for the supports he has consistently rendered to the youth forum, described his late father as a rare community leader and philanthropists whose financial, moral and physical supports to Abam sons and daughters, he stressed could scarcely be consigned to oblivion by the people.

“He was a fine gentleman we shall greatly miss his fatherly advice and supports to the growth and development of the Youth Forum”.

He prayed for the repose of the soul of the banker per excellence, recounting on his indescribable dedication to duty, which it was gathered, had elevated him to the position of a Senior Management staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria where he subsequently retired meritoriously up until his death.

“And we pray also that God gives the family fortitude to bear the great loss”, he added.

Responding, Rt. Hon. Nkole thanked the youths for their to commiseration visit, describing it as demonstration of their love for him and his entire family, while re-emphasizing his commitments to attracting meaningful projects to the betterment of the constituency.

He used the medium to charge the Youth forum on the need to observe the various laid down precautionary measures geared towards containing the spread of Coronavirus virus, such like constant washing of hands with soap, use of sanitizers, social distancing, cleaning of all surfaces and use of nose masks among others.

Meanwhile, Nkole who as has been his tradition, distributed some relief materials to the people, ranging from food items, sanitizers, liquid soap, etc, promised his constant support for the youths.
