Abia 2023: Consider Competence In Choosing Next Governor, LP Candidate, Mgbeahuru Urges Ngwa Elites

As the 2023 general election race intensifies, the Labour Party Candidate for Osisioma Ngwa North State Constituency, Hon. Iheyinna Mgbeahuru has appealed to Ngwa Elites living in Nigeria and diaspora, and indeed all Abians in general, to throw their weights behind the Governorship candidate, Dr. Alex Otti.
This is even as the leadership of the party in the state accompanied Dr. Alex Otti OFR to a meeting with members of Ngwa Elite Club, Lagos State Chapter.
The former Executive Chairman of Osisioma Local Government Council made this hearty call while addressing Journalists at Sam Mbakwe Airport, Owerri, Imo State capital, shortly after a meeting of the party leadership with the Executive and Members of Ngwa Elite Club Lagos State, over the week.
Mgbeahuru who describe Dr. Alex Otti as the most qualified candidate among other gubernatorial candidates in the State, implored all sons and daughters of NGWA LAND, and all well meaning Abians to support Labour Party at the various levels in order to bring to fore their long desired drastic change of the narrative of the entire state and Nigeria in general.
He said: “Dr. Alex Otti is the most qualified candidate of all those parading themselves for the governorship race in Abia State. He has overtime, distinguished himself in every career he ventures into and the records are there to speak. Dr. Otti isn’t coming to enrich himself rather what he’s coming to do is to open the eyes of Ndi-Abia to the massive wealth the state houses. With Dr. Otti, as the Governor, Abia will no longer be at the bottom in term of infrastructural and developmental ranking.
“I hereby call on all sons and daughters of NGWA LAND and other critical Stakeholders of Abia State to support Labour Party; to support Dr. Alex Otti in his zeal to return Abia to her acclaimed God’s own state, as it were. We cannot continue to do things the same way every season and expect a different result. It’s unheard of because “the dog can never have a kola nut”. Dr. Alex remains the only credible candidate with the capacity to restore the lost dignity and pride of Abia.dr
The 2023 Osisioma Ngwa North Constituency candidate frowned at the prolonged decayed infrastructures and the penurious standard of living of Abians since over the years, as he urged Ngwa Elites both in Nigeria and diaspora to unanimously say no to bad leadership in the state.
“Abia has over the years been a laughing stock among other of her sister-states including Ebonyi State here that was just created not quite long ago has overtaken Abia in every ramification and this is as a result of bad Government and leadership. So, the time is here for you, my Ngwa brothers and sisters, mothers, fathers and all true Abians to take the bull by its horn thereby effecting your desired change with your Permanent Voter’s Card, PVC.
I call on all Abians both at home and in diaspora to consider competence in selecting the next governor in the forthcoming election.
So, let’s all come together and correct the protracted errors of the past, and save our unborn generations from sinking.
