‘Abia State will now see the change we have all yearned for’, Ogah hails LP’s Otti over guber victory

Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah OON, FCA Fmr. Minister of State Mines and Steel Development, has amidst great delight, congratulated the Governor-elect, Dr. Alex Otti on his landslide victory in the just concluded Abia State gubernatorial election.

In a release signed by the former Minister and made available to the Media in Umuahia, he stressed that the long awaited change of narrative for Abia State had finally come with the emergence of Otti.

“Congratulations Mr. Governor-Elect, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR. It is with great happiness that I share my unreserved congratulations to you my dear brother and friend on your massive Victory in the gubernatorial election in our dear state, Abia. Indeed, Abia State will now see the change we have all yearned for.”

Continuing, he said: “I’m especially glad of your victory as we both share a deep sense of commitment and duty to our home state, Abia and we both, with backgrounds in the private sector have gained the required experience needed to change the fortunes of Abia State.

The former Minister applauded Abians for not giving up in the fight for a better Abia, which according to him, was evident in their unflinching determination to ensure that their will in the election prevailed inspite of all odds.

“I appreciate in no small measure the great and indefatigable people of Abia State who displayed their doggedness and utter resoluteness to ensure that their will in this election reigned supreme.

“Again, my now constant prayer to God for you, dear Dr. Otti is for sustained clarity of purpose, vision and unassailable will in the discharge of the onerous demands of your new office as the Executive Governor of Abia State especially at this time when you will take charge in undoing the evils perpetuated on Abians by past administrations in the state.

“Congratulations my dear brother.”
