The shocking twist of events regarding the brutal killing of Super TV boss, Usifo Ataga has left virtually everyone in a state of wonderment, as to who the accomplices really were.
It would be recalled that Ataga, the 50years old TV Boss was killed on June 15 at a shortlet apartment where he had spent a weekend with his lover, Ojokwu.
The initial information which had compelled general public to believe that the Super TV Boss, Ataga was gruesomely murdered by his beautiful 21-years-old lover, Miss Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu, consistently raised dust among the people.
Some people insisted that the law should take its course on Chidinma for allegedly taking the life of her lover, others argued that the former could not have successfully completed the act without an external support, with regard to their age discrepancy, hence 50years and 21years.
However, more facts are unfolding, following the prime suspect’s confessions in a viral recent video.
Meanwhile, Ojokwu, had earlier confessed to have stabbed the deceased to death before stealing his belongings, later debunked her confessions, as she claimed that she only returned from an errand to find the deceased lying motionlessly in a pool of his blood.
To this effect, the Lagos State Police Command disclosed that the Command had arrested more suspects in connection with the murder of late SuperTV boss, Usifo Ataga.
“We have established a case of conspiracy in the murder and we have arrested more suspects,” he said.
The Lagos Police Commissioner, Hakeem Odumosu, made this known during a parade of over 1,000 suspects at the Command headquarters in Ikeja.
He, however, was not explicit about the number of suspects arrested so far, as well as their connection to the murder.
Odumosu rather informed that the case was progressing, while assuring that the police would never compromise on the issue.
