Swimming Lesson: Popular Nigerian Musician, Davido, Chioma’s Son, Ifeanyi Adeleke Drowns In Pool
Popular Nigerian music star, Davido and his fiancée Chioma Rowland have just lost their child, lfeanyi Adeleke, on Monday, October 31, amidst Sit-at-home order.
According to a source close to the family, the three years old vibrant baby who was kept inside the swimming pool for too long in the water, during a swimming lesson with his father.
He was regrettably, confirmed dead in the evening of evening Monday, at Evercare hospital, Lagos.
The source said: “The boy was inside water for too long and they pulled him out and rushed him to the hospital,” the family source said under anonymity to await an official statement. “By the time they rushed him to Lagoon Hospital it was already too

Reportedly, Davido was earlier yesterday, spotted teaching his son how to swim, prior to the infant’s death.
The music star was seen, carrying Ifeanyi around in the pool as the energetic boy continued to flap his legs.
Davido who was obviously impressed by his son’s performance was heard commenting on how he was a fast learner.
He said: “This one go learn quick”. Before his rather sad and shocking death,
lfeanyi’s parents; Chioma and Davido had celebrated his third birthday in grand style.
Davido and Chioma’s loss is coming years after Nigerian singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly Known as D’banj and his wife Lineo Didi lost their first child after a drowning incident in 2018.
Daniel Oyebanjo III who was barely one year died after he drowned in a swimming pool at Dbanj’s residence in ikoyi, Lagos state.
Meanwhile, Famousreporters.com reports also that the late popular former Bbnaija Star, Rico Swavey was in October confirmed dead at EvaCare Hospital, after he was allegedly moved from Doren Hospital, all in Lagos State.
