Death Steals Ossy Prestige, Abia Lawmaker, Rep Onuigbo Wails …Pens down touchy message

The unfortunate, sudden demise of Hon. Ossy Prestige has thrown the Member respresenting Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency, Chief Sam Onuigbo into downright state of devastation.

It would be recalled that Prestige was elected under the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) platform and represented Aba North/South Federal Constituency.

Reportedly, Ossy Prestige’s death occurred after a yet to be disclosed severe illness.

Meanwhile, Hon. Sam Onuigbo in amidst trauma, in his message made available to newsmen on Tuesday, lamented that the world had “lost a vibrant, people-centred and progressives man”.

The Legislator described late Prestige as an Iroko tree that sheltered many, recounting on his efforts in making positive impacts on the lives of many.

In his condolence message, Rep. Onuigbo said:

“The news of the death of my colleague and brother, Hon. Ossy Prestige is one of the most painful news I have received in my life.

“The world does not deserve to lose such a vibrant, people-centred, and progressive young man. Ossy was a master networker and a king in moving mountains. His loss has completely shattered me to my very foundations.

“Yet, we are consoled by the fact that Ossy lived a fulfilled life, and touched thousands of lives as is seen in his quite remarkable achievements as the Member representing Aba North/South Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives”.

Furthermore, Rep. Onuigbo “Without a doubt, Ossy will be sorely missed by all of us. But we must take consolation in the knowledge that he left an indelible mark on earth.

“May God console his family, friends, constituents from Aba North/South Federal Constituency of Abia State, the people of Abiriba—his ancestral home—and Nigeria at large”.

Similarly, Reps spokesperson, Benjamin Kalu, also confirmed the death on Monday.

“He has been confirmed dead by a family member,” he said.

Also, Mr. Henry, Media Aide to the deceased who spoke to FamousReporters at the dusk of Tuesday confirmed the death of his employer.
