(Exclusive): Covid-19 third wave is asymptomatic… Medical Expert *Unveils cure for Delta variant

A renowned Medical expert says the third wave of coronavirus disease is asymptomatic.

Dr. Chinagozim Adindu, the Chief Executive of Abia State Primary Health Care Development Agency, (ABSPHCDA) has enjoined the public to submit themselves to the three doses of the vaccine against the extant third wave of the dreaded Coronavirus disease , saying it is the only remedy.

Dr. Adindu urged members of the public to heed the clarion call pointing out that the current third wave of the Covid-19 otherwise known as Delta is asymptomatic, hence it kills its victim more rapidly than the regular Covid-19.

The Health expert gave this charge in an exclusive interview with famousreporters.com, over the week, at his office, in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State, stressing that unlike the first wave of the pandemic, the Delta variant comes without a sign, as the menacing effects are deadly.

He said: “This third wave of the covid-19 is called the Delta variant, the third wave of the disease. It’s asymptomatic, no sign, no symptoms, you will think you are healthy and the next day you are down and they rush you to the hospital and in a matter of fee hours, the fellow is gone.

“That’s the more reason people should go to for the vaccine. So you don’t even need to wait for the symptoms to surface because it may not show in the case of this Delta variant and that’s why a lot of people are dropping and the worst is that people don’t even go for test so they won’t even know that they’re Carriers

According to him, the agency, asides being saddled with other responsibilities, is actively involved in protecting the people from the deadly pandemic, hence they ensure that the masses are tested for the disease, as well as making sure the vaccines are adequately deployed.

He said the Agency did not hesitate to effectively distribute in the state
a total of 61,000 (sixty-one Thousand) doses of Oxford Astrazeneca vaccine, which was supplied to them on March 10, 2021.

“We are basically interested in ensuring that people get tested vaccinated. The vaccination or vaccine distribution for deployment is one measure activity that we are doing in the agency. We started this on the March 10, 2021, when we received the total of sixty one thousand doses of Oxford Astrazeneca vaccine. So, it was effectively deployed in the state, and after the first dose we were able to administer the second dose to the people.”

The ABSPHCDA Boss further disclosed that the agency had recently begun to administer the Moderna vaccine, another branch of the Covid-19 vaccine administered inside the muscles.

“We have the Pfizer and so many other ones, but for us, we’re using the Astrazeneca, the Mordena. It is administered in two shots, you get the first dose and after a month you come for the second dose and it is intramuscular.

“So, we just give out the 0.5 pills of the vaccine and of course you don’t expose the vaccine to heat, we have what we call the Cold Chain System to make sure that the vaccine retains temperature of let’s say minus 2 to minus 50 so we make sure that we administer the vaccine to the public, this one is good for people between 18years and above. In fact, it is very very effective against this deadly variant we call the third wave, the deadlier variant.

“It was commenced on August 19th 2020. Here in Abia State they are really trying, we have exhausted the quantity given to us for the Mordena, we have gone from 45 to 50% so people are complying they are coming to assist the class but we still need to plead with those that are yet to come over to come and forget about those unfounded rumours that are making them not to come.”
