    …Tony Okanne, Others Fingered

    A clarion call has been made to the
    State Director, DSS, Rivers State Command by the Management of Nigerian AGIP Oil Company Limited over an alleged oil theft and other illicit oil and gas activities on Akri-ebocha Oil Pipe Line.

    In a letter signed by the management and issued to the Media, the suspects as revealed are; Eze, EnJeff Onyenwoke and Engr. Tony O. Okanne, with the telephone numbers, 08030970088, 09032784631 and 08034091904, respectively.

    According to the letter titled: ‘Suspected Persons Behind Oil Theft And Other Illicit Oil And Gas Activities On Our Akri-ebocha Oil Pipe Line, the complaints asserted that their Investigations disclosed that the trio of Eze- Jeff Onyenwoke, Jeff Onyenwoke and Engr. Tony O. Okanne were suspected to be the kingpins behind the perennial oil theft and other illicit oil and gas activities in the area.

    The Management, therefore, amidst heartache, implored the Department of State Services, (DSS) to swiftly intervene in the menacing activities of the suspected hoodlums, in order to avert impending jeopardy in the area.

    The letter read in part:
    “Credible information at our disposal indicates that some persons are suspected to be the kingpins behind the perennial oil theft and other illicit oil and gas activities on our Akri-Ebocha oil pipelines located between Okwuzi, Abacheke, Mmahu, Opuoma communities in Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni and Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Areas of Rivers and Imo States.

    Stating further, it read: “They are:
    1. Eze- 08030970088
    2. Jeff Onyenwoke – 09032784631
    3. Engr. Tony O. Okanne 08034091904

    “Your timely intervention is highly solicited to checkmate their activities and save the Nation further loss of revenue

    “Counting on your usual support please”.
