The newly inaugurated forum of ward chairmen in Arochukwu Local Government Area, led by the Chairman, Mr. Ozone Okoroafor, has paid a working visit to the member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency, Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole at his country home, Ozu Abam.
In his speech, during the familiarisation visit, the leader of the delegation, Mr. Ozone Okoroafor thanked Hon. Nkole for his uprightness, doggedness and resilient spirit, which he pointed out had helped in repositioning the PDP in the LGA thereby ensuring that capable hands emerged for the future victory of the Party in the coming elections.
Also, he implored the federal lawmaker to convey their unalloyed loyalty to the leader in Abia State and the deputy chairman PDP Governors Forum Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu and the National Working Committee of their great party for demonstrating quality leadership by ensuring a peaceful and successful congresses in the State.
However, he pledged on behalf of the Ward Chairmen, their readiness to work assiduously to ensure that PDP continue to win all her future elections and assured not to betray the trust and confidence reposed on them.
Corroborating, the Transition Committee Chairman of Arochukwu LGA, Mazi Emmanuel Jideofor Kanu thanked Hon. Nkole for facilitating his appointment as the TC Chairman and the Governor for deeming him fit to be at the helm of affairs of the LGA, as he promised to continue to support the party in Arochukwu LGA “and make it more formidable”, he pledged.
In response, Hon. Nkole thanked the people for their visit, while congratulating them on their emergence as ward Chairmen.
He promised the party his maximum support and charged them to truthfully discharge their duties without fear from any quarters.
Furthermore, Rt. Hon. Nkole urged them to extend the hand of fellowship to everyone especially including those interested to join the party while encouraging them to visit and familiarise themselves with other party leaders in the ward.
The visit attracted the presence of Hon. Onyema Ogbuagu- Deputy Transition Committee Chairman, Arochukwu LGA, Mr. Onukwube Okereke- Eleoha Ward Chairman.
Others are, Mr. Calistus Ndukwe Azumah- Ututu ward Chairman, Mr. Okoroafor Okoko- Ohafor ward 1 Chairman and Mr. Onwubiko Oti- Ohafor ward 11 Chairman etc.
