Just In: What IPOB leader said, as Governor Soludu meets with Nnamdi Kanu in DSS custody (Photos)
As part of his efforts to restore a lasting peace in the entire Eastern region, the Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo on Friday, visited the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu in Abuja on Friday.
Kanu, who is currently in the custody of the Department of State Security Services, DSS was permitted to meet with Soludo and both men were pleased to meet each other.
According to a post by the newly elected Governor of Anambra State;
“I visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, (Friday, 13th May, 2022) to felicitate with him and he assured me that if the opportunity arises, he will be glad to personally broadcast to his followers to maintain the Peace.”


The visit is part of efforts to restore peace to the South-East region that has been rocked by violence in recent months.
