KANU’S HUMAN RIGHTS CASE: Be Courageous, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Tells Abia High Court
Ohaneze Ndigbo a socio-cultural organization of Ndigbo has urged Abia State High Court to stand unflinching in treating Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case, as it regards his Fundamental Human Rights.
The organization, has, in no doubts relentlessly monitored various activities revolving around the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
This is contained in a statement issued by the National Publicity, Barr. Alex Ogbonna, to Famousreporters.com.
It could be recalled that the renowned parent body of Igboland, under the leadership of Prof George Obiozor has overtime, monitored the Fundamental Rights suit filed in Abia State High Court Umuahia on behalf of Mazi Nnamdi, Kanu by his special counsel, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo observed that the suit is concluded and judgment fixed for 19th January, 2022, as it used the medium to thank the Abia High Court for concluding the proceedings without the sort of delay that attends the Abuja case.
The release read in part:
“With an abiding faith in the capacity of the judiciary to do manifest justice, Ohanaeze Ndigbo strongly urges the Abia court to do the right thing by rendering a well-considered judgment in this case within the provision of the law.
“Having observed the court proceedings, human fundamental rights case is a shield to all both the leaders and followers, therefore our expectations are our trust in judicial institution of Nigeria to uphold the human fundamental rights when violated.”
