“This appointment bears testimony to your pedigree and the remarkable qualities which overtime, you have showcased to the world first as a successful businessman, and as a two-time Commissioner in Abia State.

“I urge you to see this as a call to service, and a great opportunity to put on display the spirit of hard work, service, and excellence which Ikwuano people are known for.

Similarly, while acknowledging the magnanimity of PMB to his Constituent, Onuigbo described the gesture as an eloquent testimony to the President’s belief in inclusiveness which, according to him, ensures that the impacts of the APC government are felt by Nigerians across the nation.

    The letter read in part:

It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I write to thank you for nominating one of my constituents, Chief Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh, as a Minister-designate.

This appointment is an eloquent testimony to your belief in inclusiveness which has seen you ensure that your government touches Nigerians everywhere. Indeed, this is also evident in the fact that under your administration, the hitherto abandoned Umuahia-Ikwuano-Ikot Ekpene federal road is now being reconstructed to the relief of my constituents and other commuters. Under your leadership also, the federal government has been able to undertake two massive erosion control works –one at Amankwo Ezeleke Amachara in Umuahia South LGA and the other at the Okwe-Obuohia road, Ikwuano LGA—at the cost of over One Billion Naira. These are in addition to several other projects. You are indeed a true Nigerian and history will be kind to you.

On behalf of the good people of great Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South federal constituency, I thank you for this nomination of our illustrious son. We further thank you for all you have been doing for this federal constituency.
