Following the suspected killing of  Navy officer in Ngbo community, the Nigerian army has threatened to invade the entire Ngbo community for failing to provide useful information regarding the missing Navy officer, suspected to have been killed by Umagudu Akpu community in Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi State.

According to the source, it recorded that entire Ngbo community is currently  leaving in fear and tension as Ngwagu military cartoment preparing war against  Ngbo community .

Reacting to the threat by the military, Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state, who had earlier made an appeal to the suspected community to conduct a thorough investigation to eliminate the dreaded defamation angainst the state, noting that state government is on the mission to maintain peace and open door policy to safeguard lives and property of Ebonyi citizen and Nigeria at large.

Meanwhile, Governor Umahi described Ngbo community as a peace- loving set of people, outlined that the people had never in past records been involved in a murder case or any related incident.

He, therefore, appealed to the Nigeria Army Staff to sheath their swords while assuring that the state government has embarked on investigation in order to hastily the perpetrators of the heinous act to book.

Meanwhile, one of the youth who spoke on anonymity told Newsmen that Ngbo people had never experienced such level of defamation labeled against them.

He, however, lauded Governor Umahi’s efforts in ensuring the restoration of peace and tranquility in the area, and admitted that the Governor had  earlier ordered Ngbo community to produce missing soldier within seven days.
