Nnamdi Kanu Trial: File 10,000 Suits Against FG or risk treatment as enemy of Ndigbo- OYC Urges Igbo Lawyers

Ohanaeze Youths Council, OYC has enjoined every qualified Legal Practitioner from Igbo extraction to, as a matter of urgency, sue the Federal Government of Nigeria otherwise risk treatment as an enemy of Ndigbo with a befitting treatment.

The apex youth wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide–the Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) has urged Igbo lawyers all over the globe with ten years legal experience to file a suit against the federal government of Nigeria in order to “save Alaigbo from political cum economic sinking.”

This is consequent on the adjourned trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and coupled with other internal/ external marginalization against Ndigbo Since 1970,

The Council, led by its President, Comrade Igboayaka O. Igboayaka hereby urged the Igbo lawyers all over the globe with ten years legal experience to file a suit against the federal government to save Alaigbo from political cum economic sinking.

The President of the Council, Comrade Igboayaka O. Igboayaka revealed this over the weekend in Enugu, after the Council’s meeting on the theme: “Self-Preservation, and Self- Sustenance of Ndigbo”

The Council’s boss blamed the recent calamity that has ravaged the Igbo nation in the past couple of months on the obvious neglect of political leaders, as well as from religious and traditional leaders.

Igboayaka regretted that the youths had over the years, been left to their plights, hence the subsisting suffering, unemployment and all manner of deprivations that had befallen the Igbo youths.

He lamented that the deplorable state of the supposed leaders had impelled them to deviate downrightly from the actual norms and value of Igboland.

He said: “The woes that have befallen Alaigbo within these past five months is as a result of the neglect of the so called leaders, stakeholders and professionals in Igbo land over the plights, suffering, lack of job that had befallen the Igbo youths. The silence of our Bishops, Priests, Pastors, Ndieze and other custodian of power and authority, has left Igbo youth with no other choice than to walk away from Igbo norms, this is why Alaigbo is turning to war zone

“Within five(5) months of insecurity in Southeast more than five thousand(5000) business outlets have been closed down, with over twenty thousand (20,000) Igbos desert Alaigbo because of insecurity.

“Injury to one is injury to all, therefore with the concept of “Onuru Ube Nwanne Agbala Oso” and “Onyeaghala Nwanne Ya” of Ndigbo.

Igboayaka, therefore, called on legal practitioners from the region to file a Suit against the All Progressives Congress, (APC) administration of President Mohammadu Buharia.

Hear him: “We urge all Igbo Lawyers around the globe with at least ten years of legal practice to sue Nigeria Government and State government in Southeast against the following:
Suit against marginalization of Ndigbo; Suit against the Lopsided Administration of President Mohammadu Buhari;
Suit against bias governance and looting of Southeast Governors;
Suit against proscription of Indigenous People of Biafra as a terrorist organization;
Suit for immediate and unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu; Suit against the continuous detention of Benjamin Onwuka;
Suit against the detention of all pro-Biafra members in all the police cells and prison in Nigeria.”

Furthermore, OYC boss insisted that the directives would in no doubts, serve as a means of restoring peace in Igbo land, noting that “any Lawyer with ten years experience of legal practice that neglects these directives will be seen as enemy of Ndigbo and will be treated as one.

“We’re given all Igbo lawyers of Ten Year’s legal experience from today being October 23 to December 22, 2021 to file Ten thousand Suits immediately. All lawyers that are concerned must prove now that they are not an enemy to Igbo political and economic survival in Nigeria, or we will mark you as one of those that are working against Ndigbo.”

Continuing, he said: “This massive legal fire-works will reduce youths restiveness and Igbo youths taking laws into their hands, which is leading our dear Igbo nation into anarchy and terrors of the day.
All suits must get to ohaneze youth council(OYC)recognizing the apex body as interested part to all the Suits. Failure to comply exposes the lawyers and their chamber as well as the family as our internal enemy who are sabotaging Ndigbo interest.”, he outline.
