OBSEQUIES OF EZE CYRIL IBE: We’re overwhelmed by Outpouring Of Love Emotions poo Prof. Greg Commends Friends, Supporters

Subsequent to the grand funeral ceremony of the late pioneer monarch of Amaokwe Achara Uturu Autonomous Community of Isuikwuato Local Government Area in Abia State, Eze Cyril, the first son of the deceased ruler has, amidst elation, conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to friends and well-wishers for their unreserved massive support.

Speaking on behalf of the entire family, Prof. Gregory Ibe, the Chancellor of Gregory University, Uturu and President, Gregory Foundation pointed out that his appreciation was borne out of the massive support his family had received “from all sections of the society before, during and after the event.”

He thanked friends from ‘all walk of life’ for their immense demonstration of unreserved love, hence standing by the family during their time of grief.

In his heartwarming message which was made available to newsmen, he wrote:

” On behalf of the Ibe royal family of Amaokwe Achara Uturu Autonomous Community in Isuikwuato Local Government Council of Abia State, I hereby write to convey unquantifiable appreciation to all persons, friends, associates and groups who sacrificially rallied round us during our season of grief”.

Speaking further, he said: “Through telephone calls, text messages, condolence visits and other forms of voluntary support, you contributed in strengthening us, thereby making the herculean task of giving our late father and monarch a befitting burial surmountable”.

According to Prof Ibe, his family was particularly overwhelmed by the massive turnout witnessed during the many days of the burial ceremony.

Hear him: “I must confess that we were truly and thoroughly overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and emotions as expressed by the tumultuous crowd that besieged the venues of the event throughout the week long event. Indeed your overture is an attestation to the quality life our late father impacted to humanity during his 100 years earthly tenure on this side of eternity”.

Furthermore, he concluded the message by offering prayers coveting God’s blessing on all and sundry.
