Ogurube Ibeku Confers Unique Title On Dr. Doris Nnenna…Bawas Celebrates Mind-blowing Title

HRM Eze Samuel Onuoha, the Ogurube Ibeku (iv) of Ibeku land, yesterday, conferred the title of Ada Ibeku 1 of Ibeku land on one their illustrious daughters, Dr. Mrs. Doris Nnenna Ugumakin.



This was following the innumerable magnanimous activities of Dr. Mrs. Doris Nnenna Ugumakin both in her community and beyond.

img 20200322 wa00251175387547232398185img 20200322 wa0024 16023703120307501364While bestowing the unique title oqn the US based Medical Doctor in his palace in Ibeku land, Ogurube Ibeku prayed for more of God’s blessings and favour upon their daughter who has in different ways impacted positively on the people, as some elderly persons in her community are on her monthly pay roll despite the economy.

Responding, the recipient who
was represented by her younger sister, Dr. Miss Juliet Uche Akwukwaegbu thanked the Eze and the people for the chieftaincy title bestowed upon her, while assuring the people of more colourful days ahead.



“I feel very honoured to have you gather here to honour me in this outstanding way. May God continue to bless you and may you have people come out to support you at your moments of celebration”.

In his remarks, Sir Royal High Chief Uche James Akwukwaegbu, (aka. Bawas) Prime Minister of Ibeku land expressed gratitude towards the king and the people, as he described the unusual title as “a new feather” added to her her shoulders.

“Today, I feel very happy as my daughter has been honoured with the title ‘Ada Ibeku 1 of Ibeku land which when translated means First daughter of Ibeku land’ by HRM Eze Onuoha, Ogurube (iv) of Ibeku land.



“It’s a thing of joy seeing your children progress, it’s another feather added to her personality.



“This will serve as an advice to others. Some people are doing well but feel reluctant to impact on others because they’re afraid that the people may start attacking them. It’s good to do good to people. I want to advise that if there’s any way you can put smiles on others, try to do so because pays to be good.”



Bawas enjoined his prominent daughter, Dr. Mrs. Doris keep the light aglow and not to relent in her godly deeds, especially in the vine yard of God.



“I encourage her to continue to help the poor and the needy. She should not stop in putting smiles on their faces, and that she has already been doing. My prayer is that God should continue to provide her with the resources.”img 20200322 wa00317016878243500852518

Contributing, Engr. Uzoma Ohabuiro of Umuerehi Amuzukwu, Ibeku lauded Dr. Doris for her immense efforts towards making better the lots of the people through her Charity work, as he prayed for more of God’s blessings upon her.



“I’m impressed with her activities and we’re very happy with her. A lot of our old men and women are on her pay roll. I pray God to continue to replenish her pocket and she’ll never lack because she gives”, he added, as he advised her to keep the ‘flag flying’.



Also, Chief Jackson Emereuwa Ochiabuto, one of the elderly beneficiaries has this to say: ” Doris is a very good daughter of ours who has been assisting so many of us. We’re very happy to have her and are proud of her. She deserves this honour and we pray God to continue to protect and preserve her from the plans of the wicked”.



Meanwhile, Famous Reporters was reliably informed that it would also be another moment of joy and celebration as All Saints Methodist Church, Umuahia honour Dr. Mrs. Doris Nnenna Ugumakin with a grand reception today, Sunday, March 22.
