Sequel to the recent video circulated viral on social media where a son of Oguta Ameshi community known as Precious Ogwua a.k.a “Toti” was alleging that the National Assembly member representing Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency, Hon. Uju Chima Kingsley is responsible for his criminal activities, the youths and leaders of the area have debunked his claim and apologized to the Lawmaker.
The people of Oguta Ameshi under the aegis of Oguta Ameshi Youths/Progressive Leaders made their stand known on Monday 29th March during their sitting in the community where they reached a communique condemning the blackmailing attempt of the said Toti who they described as an ancient notorious criminal that has no link to Hon. Uju Chima Kingsley and wondered why politicians against Hon. Uju would prefer Toti to tarnish Uju’s image.
In a communique signed by their leaders, Chief Mazi( Ogana of Ameshi), Hon. Ono Okonyia ( Elected councillor), Comrade Vincent Azogu (Youth president), Flt. Officer Udom Ajie Peters ( leader) and Uzonwanne A. Golden ( convener), stated “We under the aegis of Oguta Ameshi Youths/Progressive Leaders group, to our consternation, saw a viral video on social media( internet), we wish to make a disquisition on such cheap politics cum blackmail.”
“Sincerely, we disassociate ourselves and condemned such evil plot in its entirety against the person of Hon. Kingsley Chima Uju. Truly it brought disquietude that at this level where kind gestures ought to be encouraged and applauded, reverse is the case. A common induced criminal cannot deny the entire community from benefiting from a selfless giver, who derives joy in changing lives for the better, whose interest is to get recalcitrant youths out of the streets, whose happiness is to ensure the youths of this region are engaged on meaningful activities which puts food on their tables. That person is no other man than OMEUDO.”
“Hon. Kingsley Chima Uju requires no introduction when it comes to charity, youth empowerment. His peaceful disposition and love for a serene environment earned him the chieftaincy title ” Omeudo”. Still fresh in our memory how he single handedly brought peace to highly volatile Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta that was almost over rub with cult activities. He quelled the inferno that nearly gulfed everyone. He made the hoodlums drop their arms and further pushed for their amnesty followed by an empowerment”.
“This brought a total peace and massive economic growth to the region. How could anyone lean on a concocted and stage managed video to coax a disaffection against such good man. Do we forget so easily? This gimmick called crab syndrome or pull him down mentality remains outdated and must be resisted. Oguta Ameshi knows the hoodlums and perpetrators of such dastardly act, let no one under political disguise sponsor cheap blackmail geared towards tarnishing the image of our first eleven”.
“It is obvious that Hon. Kingsley Chima Uju has performed creditably which gave them goose flesh or goose pimple thereby resorting to character assassination.
