    OHUHU 2023: I’ll Be Transparent, Voice To Marginalised Persons, Says ADC Candidate, Amalambu

    Rev. Blessed Amalambu, the 2023 House of Assembly Candidate for Umuahia Central State Constituency, African Democratic Congress, ADC, candidate for Umuahia North State Constituency, that he would make the virtue of transparency his watchword and be a a voice to the marginalized in his Constituency.

    Rev. Amalambu pledged to conduct what he described as “a thorough NEED assessment” while also displaying the height of level of accountability in the course of his duties as a State Legislator.

    Amalambu, while expressing his utter passion to take government to the downtrodden, assured the electorates in his constituency that he will out perform in the areas of
    constituency briefing and oversight functions, if duly elected as a legislator in 2023.

    Addressing the people of Umuezeurola in Umuawa-Alaocha, Ohuhu clan in Umuahia North L.G.A, the prospective House of Assembly Member reminded that legislators
    were saddled with three major roles to carry out, ranging from lawmaking, oversight functions and representation in terms of attracting projects.

    He reiterated his unflinching commitment to his Constituents particularly in embarking on constituency briefing and empowerment programmes his legislative hallmark, if elected into office, come 2023.

    Speaking, he said: “As a lawmaker, come 2023, I’ll make constituency briefing and empowerment programmes his legislative hallmark.

    According to him, these programmes for his people, will afford the constituents the avenue to connect with him, know him very well and equally stay up to date with all his legislative activities.

    Rev. Amalambu, while underlining the importance of constituency projects as an obligation stated thus:
    ” I know the way and I will be a voice to the marginalized. Before we embark on any project, we must first carry out a NEED assessment and I will display the highest level of transparency and accountability. I will set a template and our people will know at the end of the day, how legislative business should be”.

    He passionately appealed to the people of Umuezeurola to join other wards in Ohuhu Constituency to vote for him so that the vision will not only be actualized but also realized.

    Speaking earlier, Mr. Udochukwu Okogbue, the Nkwoachara ward chairman of ADC, described Rev. Amalambu as a good and marketable product and solicited for the votes of the people, which according to him will serve as the strength of the candidate.

    Mr. Okogbue, admonished the people not to be bugged down with any political party or slogan but to vote for credible alternative in the 2023, general elections.

    In their respective speeches, the President-General of Umuezeurola Umuawa-Alaocha Federated Union, Hon. Nduka Ogwumike, among others, Mr. Chijioke Uzochukwu and Mrs Onyinyechi Chijioke described the speech of Rev. Amalambu as well-articulated and reasoned that if voted in as a legislator in 2023 that he will do the right thing.

    They maintained that the forthcoming general elections, particularly, the State House of Assembly election is the undisputed turn of Ohuhu people and the only credible alternative is Rev. Blessed Amalambu.
