The Executives of Osisioma Ngwa North State Consistuency Youths (ONNSCY), of Abia State, in collaboration with Abia young Ladies Organization, Osisioma Ngwa North Chapter, on Saturday, July 23, 2022 pledged their unalloyed support for the Labour Party candidate, Hon. Ihenyinna Mgbeahuru in the forthcoming general election.

The youths made this pledged their total support for the vision of Mgneahuru aka. The Bridge in restoring the Consistuency, when they visited him at his Osisioma country home.peter ibi

The youths decried the centralisation of power in a certain Ward, insisting I the rotation of same as equity, fairness and justice demand.

The youths expressed dissatisfaction over the poor respresentation of the present administration, regretting that it is characterised by injustice, marginalization and greediness, “emanating from one ward that has ruled for 16 years still asking for another 4years making it 20years.”

Comrd. Tracey Akwarandu, who spoke on the team, “Enough Is Enough To Marginalisation Against Our Youths”, lamented that the group was poised to providing a lasting solution to the protracted marginalization and injustice against other political wards in Osisioma Ngwa North.

According to him, their only will power is their votes, as they have vowed to stop at nothing in changing the narrative by voting for the right candidate, hence their choice of Labour party candidate.

Hear him: “The youths are saying enough is enough. And we are ready to use our voting power which is their PVC to vote out injustice in Osisioma North State Consistuency.

The youths, therefore, swore never to vote a particular political party, rather individual candidates from different political parties whose aim, they opimed “is nothing lower than quality representation.”

Responding, The Bridge, amidst elation prompted by the resolutions of Osisioma North youths to support his mission in restoring Osisioma North State Consistuency, assured them that their confidence shall be upheld

The former Executive Chairman of Osisioma Ngwa who promised to deliver to his Constituency the dividends of democracy, called on the youths to relentlessly and unalloyedly support all candidates of Labour Party, both at the state and National.

Mgbeahuru restated that with the emergence of Dr. Alex Otti OFR as the Governorship candidate, Abia State would experience a new rebirth immediately after the general election, as he described Otti as a “people- oriented leader”, saying: “making Dr. Alex Otti our Guber Candidate is the best decision ever.”

He maintained, amidst optimisms that Otti would not hesitate to rebuild the old debris of Abia, making it an envy of other states, whereas the party’s Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, he said, would restore the long l, lost dignity of Nigeria, as to her original state of ‘The Giant of Africa’.

Meanwhile, the highlight of the occasion was the adoption of Hon. Mgbeahuru (The Bridge) as the Candidate for Osisioma North State House of Assembly come 2023 by the youths.
