“At the first attack,  I miraculously escaped unhurt from the siege of the attackers who were youths.

“Infact, I can not State the motive for such attempt and then  , the attack of Friday where I sustained physical injuries in My Head and arm,

“The incident which happened after I had returned from an assignment and then decided staying with some colleagues and some sit out friends which prompted me to have stayed beyond 7: 30pm, it was while I was going back to My Residence at Ohobo Afara Community in Umuahia North Council Area of Abia State.

“As I was walking along the road since there were no much Keke to take me back to My Residence at Ohobo Afara Community in Umuahia North Council Area of Abia State, as I approached the Mobile Junction by Old Timber Road, I had double mind either to continue walking along the road to Uchenna Junction by Ohobo or take the timber road.

“I decided taking the Old Timber Road because, I had the believe that the Police Team which usually stay around the World Bank Junction could still be there, it was this confidence that led me into the hands of my attackers who were in a commercial KEKE, I could not suspect the occupants nor thier number, it was after they  bye passed me after a private clinic along the road and then turned that I noticed danger.

“True to my senses and observation: as the commercial Keke approached my direction, I saw some young men coming out running towards me, just like in a lighting flash, I saw Myself on the floor and started receiving Boot kicks in my body, and hits on my head, while I continued shouting  “Chinekem O, Awuolam O”,  one of them asked me to maintain, as they continued to pound on Me, it was as a result of my shouting that attracted residents whose houses where along  the  road started shouting, “Don” t Kill Him O”, that made the same voice that asked me to maintain then ordered the boys hitting me to bring my bag that clinged to my strong grip, as they collected the bag containing a Dairy of the 2020 Abia State Government, some documents including the speech made by Dr Alex Otti when he defected to APC at the Party Secretariat that evening of that unfaithful day, My Android Charger, a Plate of Food, Beans and Plantain, Cucumber that I bought on my way back home that night.

“It was after the attack and was running towards the road leading to my residence that I met sympathizers who had noticed the exist of my attackers and then came out and sympathized with me, it was them that directed me to a patent medcine dealer along the road.

As I arrived the store, It was then that I saw Blood all over my face and drenched the cloth that I wore on that day, it was after I had received treatment which was provided free by the Patent Medicine attendant, that I realized that despite having lost my Valuables, I was still having my Android and Power Bank and some money are still in my possession.

“I walked back home and narrated my urgly experience to my neighbors while returning home.

“It was from them that I gathered the road is no go area at night and was warned not to  try dare it any other day.

“Though, I am yet to formerly report the incident to the World Bank Police Station but then, ALL GLORY Be to the MOST High GOD for them to have SPARED My POOR LIFE.”
