Ezza Rep Member Urges ASUU to Embrace IPPIS To Facilitate Release Of Salary
Contrary to the deployment ofUniversity Transparency and Accountability System (UTAS) by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, (ASUU), the member representing Ezza South/Ikwo federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Chinedu Ogah, has, yesterday urged the Union to key into Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) to enable them receive their outstanding salaries. The IPISS which is the federal government's initiative is aimed at checkmating the illicit activities of ghost workers and teachers who allegedly collect salaries from more than one university in the country.
