Umuahia Central State Constituency 2023: YPP Candidate Writes Open Letter To Church

 

 

The 2023 candidate of Young People’s Party, (YPP) for Umuahia Central State Constituency, Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Izuchukwu Nwosu has reiterated his unrelenting commitment to ensuring an improved livelihood of the people through his selfless service, if elected into office.

 

Hon. Nwosu made this pledge in his open letter which he signed and directed to various churches in his Constituency, describing the church as the light of the world with a divine capacity to engender the enthronement of a righteous man to guarantee the joy and happiness of the people come 2023 and beyond.

 

In his letter which he captioned:

‘ABIA: GOD’S OWN STATE AND WHY IT MUST BE GOD’S OWN PEOPLE’, the YPP candidate who promised to distinguish himself from among other representatives, assured that he would serve selflessly to ensure that the people could feel a glimmer of hope, stressing that service to God is service to humanity.

 

Describing himself as the present day’s Moses, the State Legislator hopeful maintained that the votes in the hands of electorates symbolized the biblical “rod” in Moses’ hand, which he pointed out would be used to dislodge the Egyptians thus leading them to the promise land

 

 

In his open letter, Hon. Izuchukwu wrote:

 

OPEN LETTER TO THE CHURCHES

 

ABIA: GOD’S OWN STATE AND WHY IT MUST BE GOD’S OWN PEOPLE

 

I bring you greetings in the name of our Lord Christ, Amen. On behalf of myself, the good people of me Umuahia Central State Constituency and my formidable party the Young Progressive Party (YPP), I write to inform you once again of our preparedness to serve and make a difference.

 

The Scripture says: “When the righteous is in authority, the people rejoice…” (Proverbs 29:2). The Church is the light of the world that should enthrone the righteous to course the people to rejoice in 2023 and beyond.

 

In Exodus 4:2, the Lord said unto Moses, “What is that in thine hand? And he said, “a rod”. Our rod today, is our Voter’s Card; we must use it to displace the magicians of Egypt and lead our people into the promised land.

 

WHO IS THIS MOSES?

 

He is Hon. Izuchukwu Nwosu ( Enyioha), the YPP Candidate for Umuahia Central State Constituency. Born into the family of Reverend and Rev Mrs Nwosu of the Assemblies of God Church Nigeria. He is a thorough breed of Sunday School, Christ Ambassador and Departmental Heads of various Church units etc.

 

Growing up, he passed through the Scripture Union (SU), where he was taught virtues and the principles of Christ. He is a man of integrity, grounded in the Word of God, filled with the holy Spirit, believes in the promotion of the general good will of others.

 

As a front line member of Christ Embassy, he is always at the forefront of championing the cause of humanity, assisting the less privileged people and impacting positively on the society.

 

As an undergraduate, he was active in Student Unionism, playing politics with focus and have continued to engage in ventures that promote the good of others.

 

The Scripture says “…by their fruits ye shall know them” (Matthew 7:20). From his antecedents, you will know he is more prepared than others. Saying he is the most credible candidate is an understatement.

 

WHAT IZUCHUKWU NWOSU INTENDS TO DO FOR HIS PEOPLE:

 

 

• He will be a vocal voice in the House of Assembly

• He will sponsor people oriented bills

• He will attract development and improve on the aesthetics of the Constituency.

• He will empower the less privileged and put smiles on the faces of many.

 

In conclusion, let me remind us that the Bible says, “And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them” (Jeremiah. 30:21)

 

My fellow believers, it’s time to support our own. We need to change the narrative through a God fearing believer.

 

Vote Hon Izuchukwu Nwosu for Umuahia Central State Constituency and Engr Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor for Abia Governor.
