WOMEN, YOUTHS INCLUSIVENESS: Bedrock For Prosperous Ikwuano, Says APP House Candidate, Anyaragbu

The Action People’s Party, APP Candidate for Ikwuano State Constituency, Hon. Wisdom Lan Anyaragbu, has pledged to include a lot of youths of Ikwuano in his representation upon assumption of office.

Hon. Anyaragbu who described youths inclusiveness as a necessity and and the bedrock of a prosperous Ikwuano, also vowed to ensure that he removed the wall that prevents women from playing a full participatory role in governance.

Wisdom Anyaragbu stated this today, Friday, during an interface with newsmen, in his country home, at Umuariaga, in Ikwuano LGA of the State.

On youths inclusiveness, which comprises both males and females, I am one young man who believes that no one can build our community today if not our youths. Therefore, nation’s building is a necessity for all the youths especially youths of Ikwuano State Constituency of Abia State.

“When I assume office, I’m going to include a lot of youths, most of them, we’ll encourage them, like I made room for 2,750 busines registration name, licence from CAC once I get into office and these busines licenses would be made available to youths, 2000 precisely for the indigenes to be shared among the four clans; 500 each and 750 for non indigenes whereby people can be able to have their business registration license in waste bin management and recycling, in ornament and flower planting, electricity maintenance services, local contents, Engineers services, a whole lot of young minds.

“For instance, I have a few young minds I’ve been able to meet that are good at entertainment, I’ll also give them room for them to own their record label, they can be able to explore the entertainment industry and above all, those also who are top scholars in Engineering department and are all graduates and can be able to become self-dependent, we’ll also give them room for them to own Indigenous Engineering Companies and also most of the contracts that would be awarded within the Constituency would be mostly supervised by local companies owned by our youths.

“So, youths inclusiveness is a necessity and is the bedrock or foundation of a prosperous Ikwuano.”

Describing women as part of the foundation of a functional civil society, the House of Assembly candidate maintained that a success society could only be realisable when women are given the opportunity to function properly.app

“We all know that women are part of the foundation of a functional civil society which is the reason a man builds a house while a woman builds a home.

“Ikwuano State Constituency and Abia State in general cannot get the best of itself up until we start giving women the opportunity to function properly. I’ll be the first Ikwuano son to make or appoint a female State Constituency Liaison Director from each of the clans to represent them in the Constituency offices. And also, it’s part of my programme plan to establish a functional Ikwuano Youths Parliament House. It is a platform that will encourage and also encourage our young women particularly career women who have passion for leadership and governance.

“I believe that the very moment we started giving women liberty of expression in governance, the better we’ll become as a society.”
