ARIAM-USAKA PROFESSIONALS President, Prince Eleogu Congratulates Abia Governor-elect, Otti

 

 

Prince Innocent Eleogu, the President of Ariam-Usaka Professionals, (AUP), a notable body of professionals in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, has poured encomiums on the newly elected Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti for his landslide victory in the Governorship election

 

AUP President, in a release made available to the Media, while recounting on the hearty jubilations that accompanied the announcement of the Governor-Elect, on Wednesday, March 22, applauded the latter for his tenacity in his struggle to liberate Abia from an age-long depression, as instigated by bad leadership.

“As Abians hit the streets in hearty jubilations on your emergence as the Governor-Elect, on behalf of my family, the great people of Ariam/ Usaka, lkwuano and Abia state at large, I say a big congratulations to you for braving all odds to emerge victorious at the just concluded polls.

 

“The overwhelmingly spontaneous celebration that greeted your announcement as the Governor-Elect in comparison to other states where similar exercise took place is a testimony to the fact that you are indeed the people’s choice. As the scripture says, “When The Righteous ls On The Throne, The People Rejoice”. Abians see you as a liberator who has arrived the throne to liberate them from 24 years of maladministration characterized by poor and abysmal performances, lack of infrastructures, lack of ideologies to harness the full potential of the state, work without salary syndrome.

Continuing, he blamed the State’s backwardness on godfatherism a perceived factor that has crippled all the sectors of the State, saying, “politics of godfatherism, lack of direction, insulting and paltry #500 maternity gift to our pregnant mothers and all manners of reproaches and humiliations too numerous to mention here.

 

Prince Eleogu who pledged his support to new Government of Labour Party, while also acknowledging that previous administrations in no doubts had left the state in utter jeopardy, coupled with an unimaginable debt records, enjoined the Governor-elect to work fervently towards ensuring that the state is salvaged, despite all odds. He used the medium to congratulate Rep. Darlington Nwokocha, High Chief Obi Aguocha and Engineer Boniface lsienyi for their victory in the 2023 polls, as he urged them to “give our Governor-Elect the needed support to deliver on his mandate of restarting and taking Abia state to the Promisedland.”
